'The E.W.P.' Museum Trilogy
An exclusive pack of 3 museum release vintages of 'The E.W.P' Reserve Shiraz. The trilogy includes the 2014, 2015 and 2016 vintages, individually wrapped and beautifully presented in a custom Pikes Wines wooden box.
Named after Pikes co-founder and patriach, Edgar Walter Pike, The E.W.P is the purest expression of Shiraz from our Polish Hill River site.

Winemaker Note:The 2016 vintage was regarded as a very good red vintage. This wine has a greater depth in colour than it's counterparts, showing aromas of perfume, spice and savoury notes. Powerful, linear and structural. The 2015 still has some time ahead showing quite a structural palate with a prominent tannin structure and acid profile. Dark chocolate, spice and roasted meat are the heroes here. And finally the 2014, a medium weighted wine in a very nice place for a 10 year old wine. Coming from a vintage rememebered for 100mm of rainfall on Valentines Day, this wine show aromas of spice, forest floor and a charry bacon oak presence that follows through to a smooth and gentle palate hallmarked by the soft and silky tannins. We think you'll find this trio an interesting exploration of the different vintages now or as time goes on.
