2023 'Olga Emmie' Riesling
Named after Andrew Pike’s paternal grandmother, the ‘Olga Emmie’ is our tip of the hat to the half dry Spätlese wines of Germany.  Medium sweetness up front with a clean acid and dry finish. This release is perhaps one of our best, and over the years has become one of the staff favourites. This expression of Polish Hill River Riesling can be enjoyed upon release, and handle 5-7 years of cellaring.

Winemaker's Note:Good winter rain allowed soil profiles to be full, giving the vines a great start to the growing season. Remarkably cool summer followed, providing perfect conditions for healthy vines to produce fruit with high natural acidity and concentrated flavours. One of the better vintages of the last decade.
