A dry growing season, followed by 60mm of rain in January and one of the coolest February’s on record resulted in small crop levels and a high concentration of flavour.
Sangiovese is proving to be very well suited to our estate, evidenced by the consistent natural balance it finds with minimal intervention in the vineyard. Sourced from our oldest block, E5, planted in 1993.
