From a warmer vintage the 2018 Merle has begun to show some bottle development. Fragrant aromas of butter toast and lemon butter. The palate is linear with marmalade, confected citrus and lemon curd with a talcy textured finish. Still plenty of time to enjoy with easily another 15+ years ahead.
