Our Philosophy

Slate is at the heart of everything we do at Pikes. Our vineyards sit on an ancient bed of 650 million-year-old slate stone that has been our foundation and a critical element in shaping the wines we produce.

The Philosophy at Slate Restaurant is to simply showcase our estate grown wines and handcrafted beers alongside the amazing produce that is grown in and around our region.

Our Menu

Slate Restaurant Head Chef, Trist Steele, delivers a Modern Australian menu featuring simple, yet delicious dishes.

Showcasing the best local produce from in and around the region, with seasonal fruits and vegetables from our kitchen garden featuring in most dishes. Savour the flavours of the Clare Valley alongside Pikes estate grown wines and craft beers from Pikes Beer Co.

Choose your dishes from our A La Carte menu or we can offer a three-course menu for $75pp. If you would like, we can match wines to your experience for $30pp. Three-course menu required for bookings of 12 or more guests.
