2007 'THE ASSEMBLAGE' SMG
Colour:
Medium / deep red.
Aroma: Ripe blueberries and plum with spicy white pepper notes displayed. Also a little dark chocolate lurking in the background. The cedary French oak is almost unnoticeable.
Palate: Rich, ripe and plump with a core of blueberry, chocolate and cherry flavours. Soft, savoury tannins and good acid add structure and length to the wine.
Summary: Quite “Rhoney” in style this wine will appeal greatly to lovers of this more subtle, elegant Shiraz based wines. Drink now or next 5-8 years.
