2010 'TRADITIONALE' RIESLING

Colour: Brilliant pale green colour.
Aroma: Spotlessly clean and quite expressive, displaying citrus florals, apple and subtle notes of stone fruits and slate. .
Palate: Crisp, fresh and dry, loaded with “waxy” lemon and grapefruit flavours wrapped around a core of well balanced mineral acidity.
Summary: Another really good Pikes Riesling from what was quite a challenging vintage. Makes a lovely drink as a fresh, young white wine, but will take 5-7 years in the bottle for those who like bottle aged Riesling.
