2002 MERLOT
Colour: Deep dense red, almost black.
Aroma: Super ripe fruit redolent of plum, cherries and blackberry. Some charry oak in the background as well as dark chocolate aromas.
Palate: Full, rich and ripe with sweet fruit filling the mouth and enough fine tannins and acidity to give this wine strength and persistence.
Summary: Drink now and over the next 5-7 years. Try it with beef and Guinness pie.
