2007 'THE HILL BLOCK' CABERNET
Colour:
Medium to deep red with crimson hue.
Aroma:
Typical “Hill Block” aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, perfumed violets and cedary/cigar box French oak.
Palate: Rich and ripe, but still elegant with blackcurrant/cherry the main drivers here complimented by some attractive charry oak flavours. The fine tannins and well balanced acid provide structure and length to this stylish Cabernet.
Summary: Displaying all its typical vineyard characteristics this terrific red shows the varietal definition and the complexity we come to expect from The Hill Block. No problem to keep for 7-10 years – most probably longer.
