2007 “The White Mullet”

THE WHITE MULLET 2007

This is a fruity, fresh quaffing white which represents a very clever blend indeed. It adds the weight of Viognier, the Zip of Sauvignon and the freshness of Semillon to what is otherwise quite a classy Riesling with a long finish and nicely balanced acidity.

.if you're looking for a few whites to balance the afternoon barbie .. Then Pikes The White Mullet with it's zippy mouthfeel....

Ray Jordon - The West Australian - 29th November 2007

Made from Riesling, Viognier, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc this quaff sporting white wine has a very good red counterpart, but the white got the nod this year. Sensually aromatic, but not taking itself too seriously this is a bloody clever piece of winemaking and a wine that is as hypnotic as is slottable.
