Wines

2007 “The Hill Block” Cabernet Sauvignon

Colour

Medium to deep red with crimson hue.

Aroma

Typical “Hill Block” aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, perfumed violets and cedary/cigar box French oak.

Palate

Rich and ripe, but still elegant with blackcurrant/cherry the main drivers here complimented by some attractive charry oak flavours. The fine tannins and well balanced acid provide structure and length to this stylish Cabernet.

Summary

Displaying all its typical vineyard characteristics this terrific red shows the varietal definition and the
complexity we come to expect from The Hill Block. No problem to keep for 7-10 years – most probably longer
