2016 “Damside” Chardonnay
Gentle aromas of yellow peach, nectarine and honeysuckle with some subtle flinty characters coming from wild yeast fermentation.
Medium weight, soft and chock full of the stone fruits mentioned above, plus some flecks of cream and charry French oak providing a little complexity and structure.
Only a few of our colleagues persist with Clare Chardonnay these days, but we think makes a great drink as do many of our customers. Drink now or hold for 2-4 years.
Should work well with pork chops or roast chicken.
