2013 “Gills Farm” Mourvedre
Medium / deep red.
Strong spicy/white pepper aromas along with ripe blueberries and chocolate like notes as well. A little earthiness combines
nicely too and the French oak almost unnoticeable.
Juicy, ripe and spicy with a core of blueberry and cherry flavours. Fine drying tannins and balanced acidity add structure and length to the wine.
This wine has turned into somewhat of a staff fave. A lovely medium bodied wine that offers great drinking. Try it with
something retro like Fillet Mignon. Drink now and over the next 3 – 5 years.
14.0% Alc/Vol, 3.64 pH, 5.60 g/L TA, 0.6 g/L RS.
