Colour: Light, pale green.
Aroma: Fresh aromas of citrus blossom, yellow peach and wet slate nuances.
Palate: Light and fresh with the lemon, lime and mineral the main features evident here. Bright acidity prevents the wine from finishing overly sweet and adds some length and persistence as well.
Summary: Made from the fruit grown on the adjacent block to “The Merle” this “off dry” style is back in vogue. It’s a terrific match with a hot and sour soup or try with Gruyere cheese. It can take some bottle age too – say 3-5 years.
